- Please check the question because it leads to a paradox. The question should be "Man A lies on monday, tuesday and wednesday.Man B lies on thursday, friday
and saturday.On one particular day A said "Yesterday i lied".then B said
"Yesterday i lied too".On which day were these statements made?"
Now the ans is Thursday. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(35) No(5)
- This question is either not correct or the answer will be "It can't be possible"
This is because::::day can't be Sun,Mon,tue and wed acc. to B as he on this days he only speaks truth so he can't say that today i lied.
Similary A can't say on Sun,Thrusday, fri, sat that i lied today because these day he can't lie and so he can't speak that today i lied amoung these days.
So acc. to A, today can only be mon,tue and wed but acc. to b today can only be thr, fri, sat.
Since there today set has null intersection (nothing common), so there can't be a any day when this situation holds true.

- sunday is the answer...because one day is common between their two's schedule to speak lies and truth and its sunday.

- both tell truth on sunday..
here both confessed the truth that they lied on that day..
so,it is nothing but "sunday".. - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(6)
- A and B both agree
If I was telling the truth, then both
A and B were lying.
---------------
But there is no day that both
A and B are lying, since:
A is lying on
Mon, Tues, Wed
B is lying on
Thurs, Fri, Sat
-------------
Therefore, I must have been lying
and both A and B were telling the truth
-------------
There is only 1 day when both A and B
are telling the truth, so today
must be Sunday - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
