  the oz planet has a clock of 18 hours so ter is 36 hrs per day
  total angle is 360 degree, therefore for 1 hour it is 360/18 =20
  so 1 hour = 20
  but 1 hour has 90 min
  so 90 min= 20
  so for 1 min it is, 20/90 =0.22222
  so 1 min=0.222
  at 12.40,
  i) 12-8=4
  8 is bcoz at 40th min the clock stikes at 8
  for 1 min it is 20, therefore for 4 it is 4*20=80
  ii) at 12.40,
  40*0.2222=8.8888
  
  therefore the solution is i+ii = 80+8.888 =88.88 =89.
