• Let there are N numbers in the 1st set.
  So, Xn/N=46 (where Xn=sum of n terms)
  => Xn=46N
  and second set
  X4/4=52 (where X4=sum of 4 terms)
  => X4=208
  So, acc. to problem
  (Xn-X4)/(N-4)=44.5
  (46N-208)=44.5(N-4)
  46N-208=44.5N-178
  1.5N=30
  N=20........Ans
  So there are 20 numbers in the set.

  sum of set= 46 * n.
  46*n-4*52=44.5*(n-4)
  => 46n-208=44.5n-178
  => 1.5n=30 =>n=20.
  hence, total no.s in a set is 20
