• as we solve it , we get exact ans 137.14 miles. but in the options available correct ans is 120 miles not "between 120 and 140 miles". This is because if we choose option b it means any distance between 120 and 140 may b right distance to cover at max of 8 hours. so if we choose b and assume distance 140 then it would take more than 8 hours and option b fails. hence the correct ans is a.
