If the area was hit by a virus and so the decrease in the population because of death was x/3 and the migration from other places increased a population by 2x then annually it had so many ppl. find out the population in the starting.

• Let the population in the starting be x.
  Population decreased due to death is x/3
  means x-x/3=2x/3(remains)
  now population increased 2x by migration
  hence (2x/3)+2*(2x/3)=2x
  Population in the starting would be........ = 2x.
