a beggar collects some money at the end of the day. his money contains four types of coins: 1paise coins ,5paise coins ,10paise coins ,25paise coins.
when he came back to his home he gave all his money to his children and asked them to divide it equally among all but every one must have unique combination of paise..children did so. after this beggar realizes that if he had one more children no unique combination would be possible for that child..
Now answer these question based on these information:
Ques_01:
if he collect 50 paise then how many children he had?
Ques_02:
if he collect 45 paise then how many children he had?

- 1) his money contains 4 types so he has atleast one type of each type of paise coin. Hence there are 2 ways of distribution
i)10,1,1,1
ii)5,2,1,1 of 1p,5p,10p,25p respectively
in both cases only one 25p coin will be with one children because 50 paise cannot be divided equally other wise.
so answer is 2. one children has 1 - 25 paise , other child has all the other coins .

- @ ankit your answer is wrong bcz if the beggar has 49 children then he should have 50 one paisa coins so as to distribute it equally to every child. Moreover, if that is the case, answer violates the condition which mentioned answer which states that " each child should unique combination of paise". And please sir if i'm wrong.
