- Data seems to be incorrect.
X= Y-3
(X+5)/(Y+5)=1/2
2X+10=Y+5
2X=Y-5
solving these , we get
x=-2
Y=1
After 5 yrs , age of X =3 yrs and age of Y = 6 yrs/ - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(24) No(2)
- I think Data is not correct.
According to Dipin, Sum of x+y=-1
also according to Kali, sum of ages after 5 years is 9 yrs.
Sum of ages now is 9-10=-1.
which is not practical. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(4)
- x=3y
x+5/y+5=1/2
solve these 2 eqs n get d ans. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(11)
- x=y-3
x/y=1/2
x = (1/3)*total age
y = (2/3)* total
from 1st eqn,
(1/3)*T = (2/3)*T -3
from solving this,we can get T =9 as answer - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(2)
