P, Q and R can do a work in 20, 30 and 60 days respectively. How many days does it need to complete the work if P does the work and he is assisted by Q and R on every third day?

Answer is 15 days
Lets take total work to be done is LCM of 20, 30, 60 = 60
P's 1 day work = 60/20 = 3
Q's 1 day work = 60/30=2
R's 1 day work = 60/60 = 1
as P is assisted by Q and R both on every 3rd days. so in every 3 days work done by P,Q and R together is [(3+2+1) + 3 + 3] = 12
P,Q and R's together 1 day work = 12/3 =4
time needed to complete the work = 60/4 = 15 days
