4. Kingfisher bought on airbus in the year 2002. Kingfisher sold that airbus on 31st December 2004 to buy another airbus. During this period the total distance travelled by the airbus tyres (while taking off and landing) is 2000 km. Kingfisher used 20 tyres equally in sustaining this distance travelled. How many km. did each tyre sustain (if one airbus has 4 tyres)?
Read Solution (Total 3)
-
- one airbus have 4 tyres so that 4 tyres equally sustain the distance.
now pair of tyres is 5(5 pair * 4 tyres = 20 tyres).
each pair sustain=2000/5=400km distance.
so that from first line each tyre sustain 400 km distance. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(35) No(0)
- the four tyres olwez cover the same distance simultaneously,
so 20/4=5 rounds of tyres were used
so total distance covered by each tyre of any of those 5 slots=2000/5=400km - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
