- when there is successive division.......start calculating the number from reverse
divided by 2 remainder is 0, number = 2k+0
now,divided by 3, remainder is 2, number=3(2k)+2
now divided by 5, remainder is 1, number= 5(3(2k)+2)+1 =5(6k+2)+1 =30k+11
so,number=30k+11
by putting k=1, we get number= 41
so,when 41 is sucessively dividded by 2,3,5 remainder will be 1,2,1
ans is 1,2,1 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(41) No(3)
- The answer is 1,2,1.
we first assume the no.to be x,and when x is divided by 5,let y be the quotient and 1 is the remainder...
then when y is divided by 3,let z be the quotient and remainder is 2....
again when z is divided by 2 the quotient is 1 and leaves 0 as remainder....
now we can write.
x=5y+1 . . . (1)
y=3Z+2. . . .(2)
z=2*1+0. . ..(3)
from (3) we get z=2,putting z=2 in (2)we get y=8 and similarly x=41...
now divide 41 by 2,3,5 ....
and the answer is 1,2,1

- same no. when successively divided by 2,3 and 5 we get remainder 1,2,1

- shrt cut way
5 1
3 2
2 0
0*3+2=2
2*5+1=11
now 11/2 thn q=5,r=1
5/3 thn q=1,r=2
1/5 thn r=1
so the ans is 1,2,2 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(7)
- rem. are 0, 2, 1

- ans=1,2,1

- 1,2,1 will be the remainders !!!
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- Ans will b 41 and it will give rem=1,2,1 resp.
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- I think remainder for the last one(2) is 1 not 0, then only the 41 is correct
