If no apple is cut in the entire process, how many apples are left after the fifth boy takes apples from the box?

- Let x apples are left before the 5th boy took his part of the apples.
5th boy should take x/2+1/2 apples
x/2+1/2=10
x+1=20
x=19
Similarly for 6th boy took 19/2+1/2=10 apples
Now, apples remaining 19-10=9 apples
Similarly the 7th boy takes 9/2+1/2= 5 apples ( and so on...) - 4 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
