if a series is given 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,3,3,..... then which no will be at 2320th position?

- Let consider 1st sequence 1-1,2-2,3-3,4-4 = total 10 terms
Similarly 2nd and 3rd sequence contain 20 terms and 30 terms.
So the series in A.P
10,20,30,40,....
10(1+2+3+4+......+n)=x where x is the near value to the given 2320th term
So 10{n(n+1)/2}=x (near to 2320)
By trail and error method we get n = 21
and x = 2310
no terms = 2320-2310 = 10
as 21 is completed 22 is started.
So 1-22,

so from 2301 onwards 22 terms will be 1

- as we see the series element is doubling itself after 4 i.e 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4 then 1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4 i.e the total no. of terms increasing are as 10,20,40,80,160,320,640,1280.........so till 640 we have sum as of 1270 terms remaing are 1050 that will b sub. frm 2320-1270 so we have to cal. 1050th term frm 1280 i.e 128(1's)+256(2's)+384(3's)+512(4's) so 128+256+384 will yield 758 i.e not 1050th term that means it falls in 512(4's) therefor ans is "4"
