Friends i had written my apti. some of my questions are
1. wat is d probability that a particular selected leap year has 53 sundays?
2. two equilateral triangles of side 12cm form a star in a circle. wat is the area of circle apart from that star? ans: 68
3. mother, daughter and infant age problem which is repeatedly asked in m4maths. ans:10 yrs
4. wat is the probability that 5 comes before 7 when two fair dice are thrown?
5. some data question that who has the largest number when 1 person is exactly lying? ans:eesha
6. a student has average of 76 in 6 subjects. but he noticed that 3 subjects marks were inverted. original marks in those subjects are 87,79 and 98. if the correct marks were used to calculate average then %difference in average is? ans: 0
7. number plate with 1,2,3,4,5 digits as numbers without repetition. ans: 325
8. 3mangoes and 4apples cost 85, 5apples and 6peaches cost 122, 6mangoes and 2peaches cost 144. what is cost of 1mango,1apple and 1peach? ans:37
most of the questions are from m4maths. practice the tcs puzzles from here. you can surely crack apti. all the best.

- A leap year has 366 days, therefore 52 weeks i.e. 52 Sunday and 2 days.
The remaining 2 days may be any of the following :
(i) Sunday and Monday
(ii) Monday and Tuesday
(iii) Tuesday and Wednesday
(ivWednesday and Thursday
(v) Thursday and Friday
(vi) Friday and Saturday
(vii) Saturday and Sunday
For having 53 Sundays in a year, one of the remaining 2 days must be a Sunday.

- Altitude of the triangle = 3√2a = 3√2(12) = 63√
We know that centroid divides the altitude in the ratio 2 : 1 and 23(Altitude) = Circum radius
Circum radius = 23(63√)=43√
Area of the circle = πr2=3.14×(43√)2
Now the two triangles in the circle forms 12 small equilateral triangles with side 4. So their total area = 12×3√4a2 = 12×3√442
Area which is not covered by the equilateral triangles = 3.14×(43√)2 - 12×3√442 = 67.65 ≃68

- 6. to check the difference of average,
calculate the original marks average of 3 subject =87+79+98/3=88
calculate the inverted marks average of 3 subject =78+97+89/3=88
so there is no difference hence the answer is o - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
