What is the next number of the following sequence
.7, 1.2, 1.2, 2.2, 1.7, 3.2, 2.2, 4.2,.....?

• there are two series with alternate terms
  (.7,1.2,1.7,2.2, ) and (1.2,2.2,3.2,4.2, )
  both series are AP with cd .5 & 1 respectively
  so next two terms are
  2.2+.5=2.7 & 4.2+1=5.2

  so for the first one if we add 0.5 to each term,we get the final ans as 2.7 i.e.

  1.2+0.5=1.7
  1.7+0.5=2.2

  and the second one will be obtained by adding 1.0 to each term,i.e.----
