• i think the answer is 5.
  when n is divided by 5, let the quotient be q. then n = 5q + 4.
  
  in the second part of the question the asked the remainder when 5 is divided by 2n..
  that means 5/2n..
  5/2n = 5/(10q + 8).
  when 5 is divided by (10q + 8) then the remainder is 5 because the denominator is more than numerator so when 5 is divided by a number more than 5 the remainder is 5

  so, 2*(n)/5=(10*x+8)/5
  10*x divided by 5
  when 8 divided by 5 then remainder is 3.
  so answer is (d)3.

• i guess the last part of the question needs to be reversed.
  n=5k+4
  so,2n=10k+8=5(2k+1)+3
  therefore when 2n is divided 5 leaves 3 as remainder.

  then n=5x+4.
  2n=10x+8
  =(10x+5)+3
  10x+5 is divisible by 5. hence remainder is 3.

  now divide 5/2n=>5/2(25x+20)
  =>5/50x+40
  =>5/5(10x+8)
  =>1/(10x+8)

  then 2n=48 when 48 divided by 5 it leaves remainder 3
  any other examples which leaves 4 as remainder are accepted

  then 2n=58 when 58 divided by 5 it leaves remainder 3
  any other examples which leaves 4 as remainder are accepted

  if we divide 8 by 5 the remainder is 3 ans
