Q. A pond has flowers in it each day the flowers in the pond get doubled if the pond gets full on 20th day , on which day the pond will fill half

• Given that flowers in pond gets doubled every day
  Consider flower on 1st day=1
  1,2,4,8,16.....
  The above series is in GP with a=1 and r=2 & given pond fills in 20th day
  therefore Sn=a(r^n-1)/(r-1)=1(2^20-1)
  Pond gets half on 19th day,numbers of flowers=2^19-1

• 19 TH DAY. ON 19 TH DAY THE POOL WILL BE HALF FILLED. NEXT DAY IT WILL BE DOUBLED, MEANS FILLS THE POOL
