• Given 150 men start a piece of work,Let 150 men complete work in x days then 1 men 1 day work=(1/150x)----(1)
  Given 4 men leave and remaining men=146 and given takes 8 more days to complete the work,then 1 men 1 day work=(1/146*(x+8))----(2)
  Equating equations 1,2 we get 1/150x = 1/146(x+8) we get x=292
  therefore actual time required to do the given work = 292 days
