What is the angle degree suspended by two hands of clock showing the time 2:30?

• Total angle in Circle(watch) is 360 degree
  12 hour make 360 degree
  1 hour makes 360/12 = 30 degree
  When two hands of clock showing the time 2:30 then small nidle is between two & three
  so it will make 15 degree
  3:00 to 6:00 nidle will make 90 degree
  
  so two hands of clock showing the time 2:30 (90 + 15)degree = 105 degree

• let us consider degrees covered as distance covered.
  now for 60 minutes,minutes hand covers 360 degrees so speed of it is 360/60=6 degrees per minute.where as hours hand covers 30 degrees so its speed is 30/60=0.5.now relative speed of this is 5.5.
  this multipliyed by the total minutes covered gives the angle between the hands.but remember from the angle obtained should be n360 subtracted where n is no.of revolutions made.

  since from 12 to 3 angle is 90 by making it into 3 parts
  we get 30
  then from 3 to 6 we have 90 degrees since it is right angled
  so 30+90=120
