- Ans :100
Let two persons initially have x marbles, then after 1st play 1 person gain 20 more from second person
therefore after 1st play 1st person has x+20 and second person has x-20
after 2nd play he eventually lose two third of it during the play n the second person now have 4 times marble of what 1st person is having now
after losing 2/3(x+20) 1st person now will have 1/3(x+20)
Second person will have (x-20)+2/3(x+20)
Given second person now have 4 times marble of what 1st person is having now
therefore (x-20)+2/3(x+20)=4*1/3(x+20)
Therefore x=100
Thus initially each have 100 marbles in the beginning.

- 1st person 2nd person
m m
m+20 m-20 m+20)-2/3(m+20) (m-20)+2/3(m+20)
(m-20)+2/3(m+20)=4((m+20)-2/3(m+20))
m=100

- initially x
after 1st round 1st person has x+10 and scnd one has x-10
after second play 1st one looses 2/3rd of his marbels . so he has now 1/3(x+10) and second one has (x-10)+2/3(x-10)
according to question
(x-10)+2/3(x-10)=4*1/3(x+10)
solving this we get x=50
