Q. Of two numbers, 4 times the smaller one is less than 3 times the 1arger one by 5. If the sum of the numbers is larger than 6 times their difference by 6, find the two numbers

  according to question
  4y = 3x-5................1
  and
  x+y = 6(x-y)+6...........2
  after solving equ 1 and 2 we get

  x+y=6(y-x)+6 or 5y-7x=-6 ---(ii)
