- @JAYASHREE BAL In this type of problems, generally first two are statements and last one is conclusion

- 654 is only the correct answer..
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(4)
- D)621 is the right choice according to me..
As we have to check two things(conditions).
1.the number of terms in the first two statements i.e if take A)654,first two statements are 6 and 5.
In 6 terms used are a)boxes b)pens and in 5 a)pencils b)box.so,total term used is 3.
Now,we have to check in third statement(conclusion statement) i.e 4,how many number of terms are there? We can see there are a)pens b)pencils i.e 2 terms..
so,term used in conclusion is 2 and term used is same as in 1st and 2nd,no different term is used..
so,this option satisfy first condition,if different term used in conclusion statement, then no need to check 2nd condition.this will be the wrong option.
>But it satisfies 1st so check for 2nd condition-
for this following conventions are used
1. UP+UP=UP
2. UP+UN=UN
3. UN+UP/PP=PN
4. PP+UP/UN=PP/PN
Here, UP and UN(universal +ve and -ve)-statement with All, every, any, none, not a single, only etc.
PP/PN(particular +ve/-ve)-Some, many, a few, not many, very little etc
So,for A)654
1st statement(6)=UP
2nd statement (5)=UP
conclusion statemnt(4)=PP
Here,
UP+UP=PP, which is incorrect, acc to convention it should be UP+UP=UP.
So,this is incorrect option.
So,like wise check for all options, only D)621 will satisfy the two condition.Hence D is correct one.

- its d 621 all+all=all
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(5)
- yes,i got it,My answer is wrong because we cant take it for 4 things s0,answer will not be D)621 as there is no any relation between 6 and 2,and also 4 terms are there.
I have written the above method, which is applicable for only when three terms are in first two statement.
So, answer might be A)654,but i have confusion. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(2)
- 654 is the answer
In two sentences 'ALL' is there means conclusion statement will start with all/some and then remaining uncommon words of the sentences - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(0)

- 125 wrong
621 is def wrong because 125 has 4 terms(pens, pencils, ball, boxes)
so we cant get aconclusion we should have only 3 terms to get a conclusion
in 621 also similarly has 4 terms which is not pssible....
ans was 654 according to the rules of deductions. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- ITS very easy
1> all pens are pencils.
2>All pencils are ball
3> No pencils are ball.
4> Some pens are pencils
5>All Pencils are Box.
6> All boxes are pens.
now by using option u can solve ...
a) 6 5 4 = All boxes are pens. All Pencils are Box.Some pens are pencils.
hear eliminate common word box from above we left
==> all pens are pencils . & last statement proves that saying some pens are pecils.
so ans is 654 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(1)

- SURENDRA,
E)125,it satisfy UP+UP=UP i.e 2nd condition..But it does not satify the first condition as for two statement 1 and 2 terms used are a)pen,b)pencil,c)ball....and now for conclusion statement 5,a more term box is added..
so,it does not satify 1st condition.
Hence E)125 is wrong.. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
