On a planet Oz there are 8 day in a week, Sunday to Saturday and another day called Oz day. There are 36 hrs in a day and each day has 90 minutes while each minute has 60 sec. As on earth the hour hand covers the dial twice every day. Find the approximate angle between the hands on clock on Oz when the time is 11:40am

Angle covered by hour hand in 11 hrs = 20*11=220 deg
Angle covered by hour hand in one min= 20/90 = 2/9 degree
Angle covered by hour hand in 40 min = 40*2/9 =80/9 deg = 9 deg approx
So Angle covered by hour hand in 11 hr 40 min = 229 deg
angle covered by minute hand in one minutes = 360/90 = 4 degree
angle covered by minute hand in 40 min = 40*4=160
approximate angle between the hands on clock on Oz when the time is 11:40am = 229-160 = 69 degrees

degree in one minute= 360/90=4
we can say that the hour hand will be between 6 to 9
and minute hand will be between 25 to 30 in original clock
so for 11am 20+20 and 4 minute hand 45-40=5*4=20
and now
360 for 20
so 160 for 20/360*160 ~ 9
