  24+6=30
  30+8=38
  38+10=48 so the wrong num is 28

  48-38=10
  38-30=8
  30-24=6
  24-20=4
  20-18=2
  so to make the correct order there should be 30 in series instead of 28

  by adding 2,4,6,8,10 from LHS then the no will be 30 instead of 28..
