There are two pipes A and B.If A filled 10 liters in hour B can fills 20 liters in same time.likewise B can fill 10,20,40,80,160.... if B filled in (1/16)th of a tank in 3 hours.how much time will it take to fill completely?

  in 3 hr, tank is filled=40
  capacity of tank=40*16=640
  
  tank is filling in following manner
  10,20,40,80,160,320,640
  so, tank will filled in 7 hours.

• In 3hr --> 10+20+40=70lit. Total capacity=70*16=1120lit.
  remaining-->1120-70=1050lit.
  in the next 3hr-->80+160+320=560lit.
  remaining=1050-560=490lit.
  in the next hr it fill 640lit.
  To fill 490lit recquired time=(490/640)*60=46min.
  so total 3h+3h+46miin=6hr 46min the tank will full.
