There are 30 socks in a bag. Out of these 60 % are green and the rest are blue. What is the maximum number of times that socks have to be taken out so that atleast 1 blue pair is found

• Since there are 60% green socks, the bag contains 60*30/100 = 18 socks
  Lets say in all the attempts before getting the first blue sock we take green socks out first and complete them all. so it will take 18 attempts. To get blue sock pair out more 1 attempt is required. Thus maximum number of times that socks will be taken out is 19 to get a pair of blue socks.
