Read Solution (Total 12)

- 4
16 ==> 12 * 1 + 4 = 16
So remainder is 4... - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(29) No(3)
- 12*1=12 ,so to get 16 we'll have to add 4, hence remainder =4.
we cannot simplify this as 16/12= 4/3. therefore, 1 is wrong. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(0)
- ans will be 4...cz if we are dividing 16/12 by 4...then also we have to multiply it with the same no. by which we have divided
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(0)
- Its 1.. because 16/12=4/3... 1 remainder

- 16/12 = 4/3 ...
den reminder = 1 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(13)
- 4...just follow the simple division
12*1=12
16-12=4
so 4 is the remainder - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)

16/12 remainder 4 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- 4........because for finding remainder we have to divide by the given no.
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- simply 4 ans!
don't factorize!
12/12=1
ans add +4=4(remainder). - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- answer is 4 else every division would cause infinite number of remainders ...
- 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- My answer is 4 why because 16/12
12is only one time comes in 16 .The remaining value we get 4
GHOSH said 16/12=4/3 .then remainder is 1
this wrong because according to ur concept u take simplification rather than take multiplication like 16*2/12*2=32/24 we get 8 maths concepts is lots in this apps ,what it is given to find that only. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- answer will be 4 .
in remainder theorem ,if we divide the number then we have to multiply with it in the end .
so
if we divide 16/12 with 4 then result is 4/3 and now remainder is 1 . *Note- we first divide it by 4 . So in last we also multiply it by 4
Now remainder 1 will be multiply by 4 . Answer is 1*4= 4 remainder, acc. to remainder theorem.
We generally do this in complex numbers. - 2 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
