A person climbs up to a pole of 88 m high. In every min he climbs 12 m but slips down 8 m...how much time will he take to reach d top????

  so,he goes up 12-8 = 4 m up in a minute
  
  thus, in 19 minutes, he will be 19*4= 76 m up
  on 20 th minute he will be at top of the pole i.e at 76+12 = 88 m & willn't slip down.

• in every min person climbs up 12m and slips 8m . hence net displacement becomes 4m.
  in 19 minutes person would climb (19*4)=76m
  in 20th minute person would climb 12m up.. and it will be on top.
  hence in 20th minute. person will reach on pole.

  2min=12-8=4meter
  ?min=88-12=76
  (2*76)/4=38 min
  at 38 min it should be on 76 meter
  at 39 min 76+12=88meter
