- Area of a triangle ABC = r * s
where, r = inradius of triangle, s = (a+b+c)/2
=> √3/4 * 6^2 = r * (6+6+6)/2
=> 9√3 = r * 9
=> r = √3 cm - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(7) No(0)
- ans: sqrt(3)
Radius of incircle = 2A/P
where A is the area of triangle
and P perimeter of triangle
Area of equilateral triangle ,A = sqrt(3)/4*a^2
= sqrt(3)/4*36
=9*sqrt(3)
Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3*a
=18
radius = 2A/P
= 2*9*sqrt(3)/18
=sqrt(3)

- Radius of the Circle is 2 cm.
For Equilateral triangle, diagonal of triangle is equal to side of triangle.
And center for inner circle is in 2:1 ratio of diagonal i.e. 4:2.
So radius of circle is 2 cm.
