A chiled makes three equilateral triangle. four squares and five regular pentagons each having a 20 cm long side, from length of wire. What would have been the length of the side of each regular decagon (a ten sided polygon) in cm if the chile had decided to use double the above length of wire to make ten such decagons ?
Read Solution (Total 1)

- 20 cms.
length of wire used earlier = 20*(9+16+25)= 1000 cms
length of wire used for 10 regular decagons= 2*1000=2000 cms
total no of sides in 10 decagons =10*10=100
length of each side = 2000/100= 20 cms. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
