- As tip paid is Rs. 8 so The tens digit no will be 4 and total bill cannot exceed Rs 129 so the numbers having 4 as a tens digit are 41 to 49. Now the ones digit is neither divisible by 2 nor by 5 so from 41 to 49 we are left with 43,47 and 49. Now taking 43 as a bill paid
so the percentage of bill is paid as a tip will be
(8/43)*100=18.xx
