. Today 1999, the age of Mohan and his grandmother differ by 6 years. Before 50 years Grandmother age was twice as that of Mohan. What is the present age of Mohan?

• Let before 50 year grandmother's age 2x then mohan's age was x
  So now (2x+50)-(x+50)=6

  G-M=6......1
  Now,G-50=2(M-50)
  =>2M-G=50.........2
  Putting the value of G from equ 1 to equ 2 we get
  2M-6-M=50
  M=56
  So,present age of Mohan is 56
