two consecutive numbers are removed from the progression 1,2,3...n. The A>M of the remaining numbers is 26 1/4.the value of n is:

• mean= (n*(n+1)/2)/n = (n+1)/2
  now (n+1)/2=26 1/4
  solving for n,

  (n+1)/2=105/4
  (n+1)=105/2
  n=105/2-1
  n=103/2
  n=50(approx)

• ans is same as Vicky anand but 105/4 s not equal to 50 so i think answer is cannot be determined

• if 2 terms are removed then n= n-2
  mean (n-2+1)/2
  (n-1)/2=105/4
  n=107/2 =53.5
  
  but one thing more we dont know from which place the values are removed so we cant take mean as last them + first term / two
