Two vertical poles 2 metres and 8 metres high stand apart on a horizontal plane . the height in metres of the point of intersection of the lines joining the top of each pole to the bottom of the other pole is.

Ratio of height of poles is 2:8=1:4
Now 1.6 is how much percentage of both poles height...
1st pole : 1.6/2*100=80%
2nd pole : 1.6/8*100=20%
ratio is 20:80=1:4
Hence the answer will be 1.6
You can apply same for option 3 if you want.
