How many times do the hands of a clock coincide in 5hrs

• In T hours the minute hand completes T laps, in the same amount of time hour hand will complete T/12 times.
  the formula is T=(T/12)+1.
  so in 5 hours ,
  5=(5/12)+1
  55/12
  =4.5
  i.e 4 times

• it is not mentioned from what time the 5 hrs is being started... so if it starts from a begaining of hours like 1 pm o/am or 12 pm/am or it is being started from middle like 10:30 or like that.. for the first case it will coincide 5 and for the second case it will coincide 4... so go with options.. plz make me correct if i am wrong..

  5 hrs n hands r two n in each hr they ll cll at least two times

  therefore in 5 hours:- (22*5)/24=4.5 times
