• Very simple.. Just ignore all the other statements and have a look at the statement "Peda is eaten on the day following the day of eating Jilebi".
  
  If Peda is eaten on Monday then it would violate the given sentence. Since that is the staring day and not a day being followed by some other day if we see the order Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri.
