Time Distance and Speed
if A and B are travelling from a same point at 8am. if A goes east with 65m/s and B goes south with 60m/s. what will be the time when they are 130m apart?

- Ans: 08:00:00 + 1.47sec
(65*x)^2 + (60*x)^2 = 16900
x^2(7825)=16900
x^2 = 2.1597.
By solving we get x= 1.47 sec (approx)
Here is explanation....
A is travelling towards east with speed of 65 m/s.
B is travelling towards south with speed of 60 m/s.
The distance between them is 130 m.
In one sec, A travels 65 m and B travels 60 m.
65^2+60^2=7825
But we have to get 16900(130*130) by following Pythagorean theorem.
