There are a few lotus leaves on a lake over which some birds are flying. When they decide to sit one on each leaf, one bird has no leaf to sit on. when they decide to sit two on a leaf, there is no bird on one leaf. How many leaves and how many birds?

Q.If every 2 out of 3 readymade shirts need alterations in the sleeves, and every 4 out of 5 need it in the body, how many alterations will be required for 60 shirts ?
There are ten bags. and 1000 coins. These 1000 coins should be arranged in into these (10) bags in any denomination, in such a way that when you are asked to give a certain no: of coins, u should be able to give by picking few bags and tell , here it is, say for eg: if asked 433 u should be able to give 433 by picking 5 or 6 bags, like that if asked 1 coin also u should be able to give in similar manner. How it can be arranged?
