If the area of a square has increased by 60%, by what percentage has its side increased?

  a=10
  if area of square increased by 60% then a^2 = 160
  now a=12.12
  diff bw 12.12-10=2.12
  Therefore % increase = (2.12/10)*100=21.2% increase in side
