  = 150 : 100 :250
  Maths percen = 50%. it means 75 out of 150.
  Englis perce = 68%. it means 68 out of 100.
  Sum of Maths n English percen = (75+68/250)*100
  = 57.2% (143 out of 250)
  Overall 73% = (73*500)/100
  overall % - Sum of English and maths = 73 - 57.2
  = 15.8%
  Therefore, Hindi % = Overall% + Remaini perce
  = 73 + 15.8

• Let the ratio of maximum marks be 3x : 2x : 5x.
  It is given that their sum is 500. So, 3x + 2x + 5x = 500
  10x = 500. => x = 50
  So maximum marks of maths, english and hindi are 3 × 50 = 150 , 2 × 50=100 and 5 × 50 = 250 respectively.
  Marks obtained in maths = 50/100 × 150 = 75
  Marks obtained in english = 68/100×100 = 68
  Overall marks obtained = 73/100 × 500 = 365
  Marks obtained in hindi = 365 - (75+68) = 222
  Percentage in hindi = 222/250× 100 = 88.8%

• Step 1: Total marks of the paper is 500 it can be seperated into 150:100:250::maths:english:hindi as per the ratio given
  Step 2: Now we know he got 50% in maths i.e. his mark is 75
  Step 3: Similarly his english mark is 68
  Step 4: We know the overall % is 73% and also the overall mark is 500. For that he scored 365 marks as per overall %
  Step 5: To find the hindi % Add the marks of English and maths and subtract it with overall marks(as per overall %) to find the hindi mark
  75+68+x=365
  x=222(hindi mark)
