The sides of a triangle are 24, 16, and 12. The shortest side of a similar triangle is 6. Find the longest side of this triangle.

  12/6=2
  and again largest side
  24/x=2
  x=12
  becoz ABC and XYZ triangles AB/XY=BC/YZ=AC/XZ

  16=4*4
  12=4*3 i.e. sides are multiples of 4 with no. 3,4,6
  hnce by this logic for 2nd triangle
  2*3=6
  2*4=8
