Its very simple....
X-4=0..which gives us value of x ie x=4.
Put this value in second equation ll get y = 7. :-)

If we take 2nd stat.. Den that means y value can be anything like. if we make x=3, then the whole value will become 0. So we need both the statements to confirm that the answer of y=7.

=>x=3 "or" y=7
we are not sure and statement 1 confirms it that x-3 not =0 so y-7=0
