Find the angle between the minute hand and hour hand of a click when the time is 7.20?

• There is a direct formula i.e 30h-(11/2)m.. where h is hour and m is minute.. putting the values we get 30*7-(11/2)*20=100.

• hour hand makes an angle in 12 hour= 360 deg
  therefore 7.20 hours=(7+4/12)hours
  so,in 7.20 hour angle= (360/12*88/12)deg
  =220 deg
  in 60 min angle of minute hand= 360 deg
  so, now angle in 20 minute=(360/60*20)deg
  = 120 deg
  hence,Required angle=(220-120) deg
  = 100 deg
