A's one day work---- 1/24
A's 6 days work----- 6(1/24)=1/4
still 3/4th part of work is remaining.
B's one day work --- 1/48
A and B together one day work---- (1/24) + (1/48) = 1/16

x*(1/16)=(3/4)
x=12.
