A group of 35 men is employed to complete some work in 48 days. After 33 days, 5 more men are employed and the work is finished 1 day ealier. If 5 more men were not employed, how many more days would it have taken beyond the expected period?

After 33 days, 5 more men are employed and the work is finished 1 day ealier
so the total work is done in 47 days
in both cases first 33 days work is same
so 40 men do the remaining work in 14 days
35 men do the remaining work in 14*40/35=16 day
i.e 35 men do the total work in 33+16=49
49-47=2 days have taken beyond the expected period
