To do a certain work C alone takes twice as long as A and B together. A would take 3 times as long as B and C together. All three together complete the work in 5 days. How long would each take separately?

  now put the value of a+b and b+c in the 3rd equation from this u get the value of a b and c

  (a+b)'s 1 day's work=2* c's one day work
  so,2c+c=1/5
  c=1/15
  so,c will take 15 days
  similarly,b=12,a=20

  A=(B+C)/3
  
  A+B+C=1/5
  
  2C=1/5
  C=15 days
  
  A+B=2/15
  (B+C)+B=2/15 use C=1/15
  B=1/15
  
  A+(1/15)+(1/15)=1/5
  so A=1/15
