• Average = 84%
  4 semester course, average = 75 (i.e. 75*4 = 300)
  To make a avg for 84 in next 5 semesters,
  
  Total, 9 semeter = 80*9 = 720 (i.e. 80%)
  Average = Total marks(9 semesters) - 4 semester marks / 5
  Therefore, 720-300 = 420
  420/5 = 84.

  (4*75+5*x)/9 =80
  on solving we get X=84%

• TO INCREASE AVG BY 5, HE SHOULD GET AN HIKE IN PERCENTAGE IN 5TH SEMESTER BY (5*5)=25%I.E HE SCORED 100% IN 5TH SEM
