What is the least number of Identical cuboids, each of dimensions 2cm*4cm*5cm, that are required to form a cube
Read Solution (Total 4)

- 200 cuboids required to form a cube (Least Number).
By taking L.C.M of dimension 2cm*4cm*5cm,
we get 20 will be the side of cube of minimum dimensions.
So,
Number of minimum cuboids = (20*20*20)/(2*4*5)
= 10*20
= 200 cuboids. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(1)
- volume of cuboid =40 cm3
to form a cube we need 10 cuboids whose collective volume will be 1000 cm3.
which is the cube of 10cm3.
so, 25 will be the min number of cuboids. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(6)
