sam and mala have a conversation. sam says i am vertainly not

over 40. mala says i am 38 and you are atleast 5 years older

than me. Now sam says you are atleast 39. all the sattements by

the two are false. How old are they realy.

• Since all are false we can conclude:
  1)Sam is over 40, i.e 41,42...
  2)mala is not 38 and sam is atmost 4 years older than mala.
  3)Mala is atmost 37(since in the 2nd statement mala cant be 38)
  So mala is 37 and sam is 41.
