A man is 24 years older than his son. In two years, his age will be twice the age of his son. The present age of his son is:

- Let the son's present age be x years. Then, man's present age = (x + 24) years.
If u see anything in the question as after two years like tat , u have to add that years in both sides...sometimes many makes mistakes here adding year in one side...and always remember u have to add 2 years or whatever years given should be added in both sides..so ..
(x + 24) + 2 = 2(x + 2)
x + 26 = 2x + 4

- Let the age of son is x then the age of man is x+24 and after 2 years the age of man is twice of the age of son it means
2(x+2)=x+26 => x=22
