- 1. if x units of each liquid is purchased , then
amt spent on x units of petrol = Rs x
Amt spent on x units of diesel = x/3 = 510, so x= 1530
amt spent on x units of kerosene = x/5 = 1530/5 = 306

- Question 1 : Option B.306
Question 2 : Option C.1955
Let X = Petrol price
And Y = Diesel price
And Z = Kerosene price
Question 1:
1X=3Y=5Z
Ratio:- X:Y:Z = 15:5:3
All three having equal volume.
So, amount spent on kerosene,
3/5*510 = 3*120 = 306Rs
So, option B. 306rs
Question 2:
Total amount =3* 510 + 510 + 306 = 2346Rs
Amount spent on Petrol and Kerosene = 15:3
Amount spent of Petrol = 15/18* 2346= 5/6 * 2346 = 1955Rs
So, option C.1955rs - 12 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(6)
